Our Mission

  • Safeguard artifacts, photographs, oral histories, and documents

  • Be an educational resource for schools, residents, and visitors

  • Provide a gathering place for exhibits, programs, and events

  • Strengthen community pride and support local tourism

Youngsville Historical Preservation Society

The Youngsville Historical Preservation Society (YHPS) was formed to preserve and celebrate the people, places, and traditions that shaped our community. What began with a simple curiosity about our town’s past has grown into a commitment to collect, document, and share the stories that make Youngsville unique. We strive to safeguard artifacts, photographs, and memories before they are lost, and to educate future generations about our history through exhibits, programs, and community engagement. Our long-term vision is to create a permanent home where Youngsville’s rich heritage can be experienced, studied, and honored for years to come.
